About Mark Hodge

In his almost three decades of practicing law, Mark has extensive experience in advising companies and individuals in many areas surrounding business dealings and transactions, real estate acquisitions and sales, lease transactions, and commercial litigation. Throughout his practice, Mark has experience working with start-up entities, closely-held companies, family-owned businesses and publicly traded corporations. Mark’s work has included representing a global-leading fund owner concerning its ownership, management, and sale of a preeminent retail shopping center in Arkansas.

Mark regularly serves as lead counsel or Arkansas counsel representing lending institutions, developers and borrowers in real estate and asset-backed credit facilities. In addition, Mark also has substantial experience representing public and private entities seeking and performing public contracts. His work in public contracts has also led to Mark representing clients in negotiations and disputes with administrative bodies, including procurement protests. Over the past 25 years, Mark has served as outside general counsel to a nationwide software licensing and services company doing business with private entities as well as state and federal agencies.

Over the past several years, Mark has worked with clients involved in trust and estate administration and disputes.  This representation has led to Mark working with executors and heirs as well as trustees and beneficiaries in matters ranging from advising trustees in matters related to trust administration to serving as counsel in trust and estate litigation pending in probate courts throughout Arkansas.
