Everett Kirkman, a native of Searcy, Arkansas, attended Harding University, where she earned a Public Relations degree with Honors Distinction. Following graduation, Everett worked for a year in communications and public engagement in state government before attending law school.

At the University of Arkansas School of Law, Everett developed a strong interest in litigation through advocacy, leadership, and trial practice, including: serving as chair of the William H. Sutton Trial Competition for the School of Law’s Board of Advocates; representing Arkansas Law at the regional Texas Young Lawyers Association Trial Competition; and being named Best Team Advocates alongside her trial partner in the encore round of the Spring 2025 Trial Advocacy class.

During her time in law school, Everett was involved in the annual Delta Initiative, and volunteered over 50 hours of pro bono service. Throughout law school, Everett had the opportunity to clerk in a variety of settings –– from private practice, to a federal judicial externship, to general counsel of a public university, to corporate compliance.

Everett joined RMP as an associate attorney in August 2026. Outside the office, Everett enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog; watching sports (Woo Pig and Go Bills); biking; and eating good food.
