Will’s academic journey began at the University of Arkansas, where he demonstrated not only his intellectual prowess but also his leadership qualities. During his time at the university, he was actively involved in the Interfraternity Council, serving as a Chapter President. His leadership extended to the University of Arkansas Chapter of Farmhouse Fraternity, where he held the prestigious positions of President and Vice President of Recruitment. Continuing his legal education as a second-generation student, Will attended the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. His dedication to advocacy and litigation became evident as he was chosen to lead the 2019 UALR Trial Team as Captain and serve on the Moot Court Executive Board. His early experiences in criminal defense litigation at the James Law Firm solidified his passion for this aspect of the law. With over 20 jury trials under his belt, Will possesses a wealth of experience, having handled a broad spectrum of criminal cases, ranging from simple traffic tickets to the defense of individuals facing capital murder charges. His legal expertise has taken him from small-town district courts to the highest echelons of Arkansas’s judicial system, including appearances before the Supreme Court of Arkansas in appellate matters.
